The veterans' engagement for honoring local veterans in the gardens area by connecting with valuable resources, services, and programs as well. The event serves as a space to recognize and appreciate our heroes of America, reinforcing the community's commitment to those who have served this wonderful country. In fact many veterans face little to no recognition for their sacrifice and many actually end up homeless or low income since they are unable to work due to physical and mental issues such as disabilities and PTSD.

Many veterans don't even have any living family members because they lost them due to age, diseases, and especially war so they often find themselves alone. Veterans are typically not given financial aid by government officials which is a huge issue in America. Here at Gardens we highly value our veterans for their service and want to commend and appreciate them for the work they did for our nation. A great way to do something positive for your community is to give back to the individuals that are the very reason we have our community today.

At the event we will be having a memorial for people who lost their lives or their family members lives in war. We will also be collecting donation items such as blankets, food, and various household items. The location will be decorated with many American flags and appreciation sites for our veterans. We will also be honoring each individual veteran for the dates they served and any honorary badges they may have received for their service.

Our community also plans to provide more services for veterans to flourish and live happy stable lives after all they've been through. We need more than ever more residents of Gardens to unite to give their support and respect to the people that fought for our country. Any of all ages is welcome to come and show their reverence for the heroes of America.
