We believe that everyone's voice at the gardens should be heard especially when it comes to decisions about your children. This is why we have many children based advocacy groups in our community. These groups revolve around different things such as school related, sports related, and even club related. Together parents unite to advocate that their children are treated fairly and that everyone is included in certain activities. If you have a child we highly suggest you join any corresponding advocacy groups to vouch for your child.
Recently a group of passionate parents fought to create a more inclusive community here at our local school. Due to these parents' fight for what they believed in our school is now a more safe place for everyone. We highly encourage everyone in our community to make their voice heard and protest against anything they deem unfair or unneeded. We encourage peaceful protests to be held, communities to be formed against certain issues, and for people to create logistical arguments to prove their points.
We also encourage our hard working laborers to fight for things they feel they deserve. We understand certain jobs are extremely underpaid despite demanding long hours and challenging work that doesn't even get recognized by the masses. Due to this we encourage workers to try to bring awareness to the issues they face and demand better wages or more appreciation from their employers. You have the right to form an advocacy group in your work place to unite against unfair treatment and spread information and knowledge on the troubles you have to face daily.
Stand up for your child today and join an advocacy group to fight for their rights! Or maybe even start one yourself if it does not already exist in our community.
