The Florida Department of Children and Families (DCF) plays a major role in supporting parents and guardians across the state. Through programs focused on child welfare, family safety, and economic assistance, DCF works to ensure children grow up in safe, stable environments. For parents facing financial hardship, DCF administers programs such as Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF), the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP), and child care support services.
Beyond financial assistance, DCF also provides parenting resources, foster care services, and adoption support. Families experiencing crises can access counseling referrals, substance abuse treatment programs, and protective services. Parenting classes and early intervention services are available in many counties to help caregivers build stronger, healthier family relationships.

Our local community has loads of different public services we can offer you. We believe that gardens should all be united as a community and thus we should all work together to help each other out. If you are unaware of the various services we offer we recommend you visit our city hall and obtain a pamphlet. The pamphlet will contain all the information you need to ensure that you are educated in ways you can utilize our tools to better your life. If after reading the pamphlet you find yourself still confused feel free to contact anyone in the gardens leadership team.
Parents who need help navigating services can contact their local service center or access information online. Representatives are available to answer questions about eligibility, applications, and ongoing case management.
